OPA & HA (Obsessive Possessive Aggression and Chronically Arrogance) is a collaborative team which main interest of activity is the position of the artist related to any kind of political, social, cultural… systems. OPA & HA in its work is treating the conditions in the art scene and the cultural institutions, the art critique and the value system, as well as the cultural conditions in general. Hence, most of the artistic activity of this group is in form of action, performance, video, TV screenings or mockumentaries, site specific projects, or combination of all these types of doing. Accordingly, their activities often remind to a process of research which is using the everyday life of the artist in its usual situations, such as preparing the exhibition, participating in the art festivals, offering its work to the art market, gaining or treating the audience, etc.


Since these issues are often connected to the local conditions, the work of OPA & HA is mostly centered on the local phenomena in the culture, such as Macedonian, often in correlation with the global happenings. Thus the phenomena like self-declaring as a supreme and absolute value, the false informing through the public media, forcing the false values and the lack of criteria through the institutions of the state, are part of the situations which are treated in the works of this collaborative team, often with humor and critical approach.
