Svätopluk Mikyta (1973) was selected for the final for his mature technique of combining several art forms – drawing, graphics, manipulated photography, object and installation. In his work a subjective dimension (shorthand diary-like drawings) interlinks with the historical-analytical method of comments (“found” and thematically selected photographs) and the illusion of a material, which he employs to transform the natural purpose and use (e.g. of ceramics).
