Ecstasy pills

The series of photograph called "Ecstasy pills" are photos of ecstasy pills branded with political symbols of different national ideologies. That is one more work dealing with transition, with the question of different ideologies of different generations. Symbols that used to be ideals and idols making nations euphoric and the source of that euphoria today are here putted together. In that way maybe I’m trying to create a “universal value” for different generations.
Photos are framed in old-fashioned wooden frames with golden decoration and are exhibited on the wall hanging higher than the eye level. That was the place for the photos of national idols like Tito, Vuk Karadzic, and Dositej in the schools on the top of blackboards.
